This project involved the installation of state-of-the-art solar panels on a private estate in Monaco Villa, Monaco, France. The new equipment is expected to save more than 20% off each resident’s electricity bill. Photovoltaic systems are non-polluting energy sources which convert sunlight directly into electricity, even on cloudy days. The electricity meter can even run backwards if no electricity is being used.
In addition to the new solar panels, every roof on the estate was replaced, using the original or reclaimed roof tiles. The houses remained fully tenanted throughout the duration of the project.
